Thanks to all of you who shared thoughts, love and prayers during this difficult time; all were appreciated. We stand content knowing she was loved to the end and experienced nothing but joy during her all-but-too-short life together with us.
Until the tears subside and we can come up with a more fitting tribute to her, we'll leave you with the words her now-grieving mother was so fond of saying to her every time she left the house: "Later, Kater."
My deepest condolences to your family. RIP sweet Katy and fly with the angels at Rainbow Bridge. You were so fortunate to have been surrounded by so much joy and love until the very end of your time on this earth. May your family find comfort and solace...

ReplyDeleteAbout the only thing that comforts the living is knowing that our beloved family members aren't in pain anymore. At least Katy is free and hanging out with all of our Spirit Dogs. I'm sure our Jerry has already found her, he was a babe magnet.
You were all so lucky to have eachother. Tripawds' hearts go out to you.
